Everything you need to install, configure, and get the most out of Layer Insights.

Quick start
The easiest way to install Layer Insights is via the Shopify App Store. The app automatically installs lf.js on your storefront using Shopify Web Pixels.
- 1Go to the Shopify App Store and search for "Layer Insights"
- 2Click "Add app" and authorize the installation
- 3Complete the onboarding wizard — connect your Shopify store
- 4Add your ad platform Pixel IDs and access tokens
- 5Verify events are flowing in the pixel dashboard

Replace YOUR-ID with your tenant ID from the dashboard under Settings → Pixel.

Connecting ad platforms
Go to dashboard → Pixel → Settings. For each platform you want to connect:
Meta
Pixel ID + System User Access Token
Google
Conversion ID + Conversion Label + OAuth refresh token
TikTok
Pixel Code + Long-lived Access Token
Pinterest
Ad Account ID + Access Token
Snapchat
Pixel ID
LinkedIn
Partner ID + Conversion Rule ID + Access Token

EMQ monitoring
Event Match Quality (EMQ) is a score from 0-10 that ad platforms give to your conversion events. Higher scores mean better algorithm optimization and lower CPMs.
0–6
Poor
6–8
Good
8–10
Excellent
